Rings-Thing. And Brick. And such.
Jan. 21st, 2003 06:10 pmFirst off (before I forget!), this week's Rings-Thing:
Of the characters who continued from FOTR, who did you think came off the best (as a character, not necessarily as a performance) in TTT? Did you think anyone got really short-changed? Did you favorite character(s) change from FOTR to TTT?
( Response within. )
IN OTHER NEWS, I now officially have a play to direct for Brick. Rock on. Somehow, Ryder and I actually managed to agree on something (he's a wonderful person, but our tastes in movies/plays diverge a bit). Then spent the entire lunch period arguing with Nicola and Laura and Ms. Hollander about Brickness. We all chose different plays, but Nicola's and mine are apparently too similar. Causing conflict. Hmph. The one I chose is ten billion times better than the one she chose; she's just good friends with the writer. (The only other play Ryder and I agreed on was that Nicola's choice was crap.) But it all resolved itself, thankfully. So, have play.
filmelder, it's Sam's play from last year, the one that sucked. He rewrote it, and it's actually GOOD this time. Belated realization: this is a musical. Or, at least, has one big and a few small musical numbers. Oh, shit, I have to teach my future cast members songs. Oh, SHIT, I have to come up with CHOREOGRAPHY. Remind me why I do this to myself?
Meh, I'm sure it'll be great. In spite of myself. Here we go!
