Someone is supposed to come repair my laptop here in my dorm, which is awesome. And he called TODAY instead of tomorrow like he was supposed to, which is also awesome. Except that I was in class when he called and only got the message afterwards, which is fine, except that I've called the number he left about five times over the past few hours and it's ALWAYS busy. Which makes me think I might have written the number down wrong, but I already, um, deleted the voicemail. So. Er. Now what do I do?
In ficcish news, I may put off my self-imposed "slasha" fic for a little, because there's some kind of Valentine's Day Fucksome Trio challenge thingy, for which my so-called slashafic would qualify (as the winning pairing was indeed a certain fucksome trio). So. Yes. Now I have self-imposed deadline for self-imposed slashafic. And very very vague plotbunnies hopping around in the mist. We shall see.
Also, I'm trying not to fall into the trap of not-being-able-to-finish-long-fics, which has been the death of at least two halfway decent WIPs of mine already. As in, I write a bit and really like what I've got, but become daunted by the sheer length and scope of the fic I'm trying to write and give up. But now I've got about five pages of HP fic that I'm really liking, except for the fact that I'm trying to tell Peter's story throughout his years at Hogwarts and up to the betrayal, which is WAY TOO MUCH FIC OMG. Um. Help? *is frightened*
