One of my housemates moved out and took the internet with him.

FAIL, ex-housemate.

(Technically, he only took away his modem. There was another modem in the house, though, from whence internet is come, but something he unplugged or futzed with or something in the process seems to have made our modem not function. One of the IT guys at the theater has been futzing with it today, so hopefully it will be fixed soon. But still. FAIL.)

Okay, gradually working my way through "Band of Brothers", way late in the game. (newredshoes will be so proud.) Just finished third episode. Wow, is Blithe the most heartclutchingly sympathetic one-off character in the history of ever, or what? Oh, man.

Also, UK actor watch -- the guy playing him was in that weird "Love & Monsters" episode of Doctor Who, which wasn't great but where he was similarly oddly compelling. Does he travel from show to show taking focus away from all the main characters for one strangely endearing episode, and then vanish into the ether?

Broken internet is broken. Stolen wireless is sporadic. Comcast coming tomorrow to fix it, hopefully.
