So my parents did this house-swapping thing, where they're spending ten days in some house in California and these other people are spending ten days in our apartment. Of course, since I'm working and can't go on vacation, I'm staying here in NYC, but since these people are in my home, I got kicked out. So I'm staying at my mom's friend's apartment for ten days. Whatever.

My computer refuses to acknowledge their internet connection. I just spent more than half an hour trying to make it work. So I'm gonna be operating on dial-up for ten days.

*stabs things. a lot*

Well, at least I made the phone line connect, anyway. Woot. Now, must finish that dratted fic thing and post before midnight. Watch this space...
