I now know what my SOSC paper is going to be about! This is a crucial and oft-overlooked step to writing papers, and I feel quite pleased to have accomplished it in so short a time. I even transcribed relevant quotes. In fact, two whole pages worth of relevant quotes from one of my sources are sitting on my screen, just waiting to be transformed into a brilliant and insightful essay!
