It's SNOWING like mad. Which would make me a lot happier if I didn't have a fifteen-minute walk back from work across the coldest, windiest part of campus. Le sigh.

Boy does that bring back memories. I couldn't afford to live away at college, so I commuted back and forth to a state school, and I can remember driving for hours during one particular snowstorm to get there, only to be turned away at the gate because the school was closed. So I turned around and drove home, and no sooner did I get that then I found they'd reopened. Needless to say, I didn't drive back.

I'm looking forward to some snow this year. So far it's just been damp and rainy.
