Now that I've force fed myself some Wheat Thins, that character meme stolen from, oh, everyone.
Lotrips (although its a little odd to call real people "characters"...)
1. The character you first fell in love with:
Dom. Dom Dom Dom Dom Dom. Totally accidentally, because I got some stupid "what hobbit are you" quiz result right after FotR came out that said I was Merry, and I was all like, hmmm, never paid much attention to him. So next time I saw the movie (which I wound up seeing 16 times in theaters...), I paid extra attention to Merry, and. Well, yeah. The Dom love blossomed.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
The Sean Bean love came as a bit as a surprise, I admit. Although I've yet to write him in a fic.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Karl. WTF? I mean, he's not bad looking, but...
4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Is there anyone hated by RPSers? Okay, how 'bout this: I have tremendous love for Ian Holm, who is barely a blip on the great RPS radar.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Orlando. He turned too Hollywood for me.
LotR FPS
1. The character you first fell in love with:
Have always been a Merry fangirl. And, well, Pippin follows pretty closely.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Boromir. Probably goes along with the Beanie thing.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Legolas. Meh. Just don't get it.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
I like movie!Faramir way more than book!Faramir. Heresy, I know, but he's just so much more twisted and flawed and HUMAN in the movies.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Sam, I guess. There are certainly characters I like a lot less, but he's the only one I've fallen out of love with. Not sure why.
Harry Potter
1. The character you first fell in love with:
TWINS. Gred and Forge from the very first book, man.
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Honestly? Lupin. I liked him well enough when I first read PoA, but then OotP happened and I was absolutely smitten. He's my true HP love now.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Lucius Malfoy. Just. Don't. Get. It.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
What HP character DOESN'T have a huge fanbase? ...Okay, how about Fluffy? I have a huge soft spot for Fluffy. Yeah.
5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
I used to think Cho was hot, but not anymore. In OotP, she just annoyed me. Not that Harry was much better. That whole subplot annoyed me.
X-Men Movieverse
1. The character you first fell in love with:
Wolverine. Duh. I mean...Hugh Jackman. How could I not?
2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Mystique became SO HOT in X2 OMG. Want her. I swear, she's the reason I decided I was bi instead of just heteroflexible.
3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Xavier, I suppose. I can understand why everyone loves him, and why he's such an interesting character, and I love Patrick Stewart and all...but he just doesn't do it for me.
4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Poor, misunderstood Toad...but just consider the things he could do with that tongue! (Seriously, all the X-Men chars I truly love have huge fanbases -- Magneto, Pyro, Iceman...)

Rogue. The possibilities for her character fascinate me, but I no longer adore her.
