I've reached that point in the paper, roughly four pages in, when I realize that everything I've written is utter crap, and I've lost the thread of my argument, and I'm more than halfway through but the rest of the way seems interminable, and I fail at life in general.

And then I remember that I don't care.

And so I slog on, and pity the poor professor who has to read this thing when I'm done.

Alas.
