I've never felt so happy or so incredibly fulfilled in my entire life and sometimes I smile so hard I think my jaw won't be able to sustain it. Every now and then I have to remind myself that this is what love does to a person! And then I smile some more for good measure. :)

Boystouching!slash does absolutely nothing for me. I think most people slash whatever two male characters they can get in a knee-jerk fashion, and it annoys the hell out of me. But femslash turns me on.

I do agree with you about the knee-jerk pretty boy slash, where it's all like, "they're both pretty! They MUST be shagging!" Which is a LOT of slash. Whereas femslash, which is much less common, tends to attract mainly the good writers.

That said, boystouching!slash wins for me. But the occasional femslash is quite nice, as well. ;)

I have an overnight reserve book from the library which will be returned on Friday when it was due on Wednesday.

And sometime in January I realised that I feel in love my best friend about ten years ago (when we were in fourth grade). Which doesn't mean much more than I can't get annoyed at "I've loved you since third year!" fics. Sigh.
