It occurs to me that it might be detrimental to my future happiness that my ideal for true love in my formative early teenage years involved six plus years of UST and unspoken devotion and multiple near-death experiences leading up to one kiss and then an inexplicable pregnancy.

I'm just sayin', it's a tough model to follow.

I totally identify with that! And all I can say is, it's a bloody good job I didn't know about the Internet when I was an X-Files fan, because I would have been an even weirder teenager than I was.
