my kingdom for an internet connection

I'm really sick of this no-internet-in-my-room thing. I still need to go to some sort of IS training session before I can get connected, but I can't do that until I get an e-mail from IS saying that my request has been accepted. And...well, I'm not sure if I've gotten that e-mail or not. I don't think so. See, I DID get an e-mail from them, almost immediately after I submitted my request, but I'm pretty sure it was just an automated response. What do you think?
So...does that count? I just want my internet, damnit.
