Browsing haphazardly about FictionAlley, I came upon a fic which claimed to be an epic all about Voldie's years at Hogwarts, and how he wasn't always evil, and it was entitled 'The Years of the Snake'. And I chuckled mournfully to myself, for yea verily, my perpetually unposted Peterfic is indeed about his years at Hogwarts, and how he wasn't always evil, and is indeed entitled 'The Years of the Rat'.

O! the pangs of unoriginality, how they beat upon my bosom. *facepalm*

well, IMO, Peter wasn't alwayss evil.

Voldie, however, was.

Heh. I haven't actually read the Voldie!fic, if only because the wording of the summary left me in grave doubt of the author's writing abilities. And I'm sure that beyond the titles and general descriptions, my fic and that one are totally different. But it was very much a *facepalm* moment, all the same.
