Earlier today, I wrote a scene that, coming back to it several hours later, I actually have to rewrite because it painted Sirius in a completely unforgivingly harsh light. Like, if someone had actually done to one of their friends what I'd written Sirius doing, they would never have spoken to him again. Dead honestly. That was a bit scary.

Writing through Peter Pettigrew's eyes is a really fascinating experience. It's really making me see the rest of the HP characters in a new and slightly disturbing light. Even if this fic turns out to be crap and no one reads it, I'll be glad to have written it. I think I'll have a much more three-dimensional perspective for any other HP fics I write in the future.
