I've been steadily going through Queer as Folk US season 1, and it's quite splendiferous. I still prefer the UK version, but for lack of more than ten episodes of that, I'll take the US version and its multiple seasons to feed my addiction.

In other equally fascinating news, hobbitgwen is leading my movie quotes meme with six correct guesses. I'll wait another day yet, though, if only because I'm flabbergasted that no one has guessed #s 2 or 4 yet. PARTICULARLY #4, which I thought would be the most obvious quote in the history of movie quotedom. Sheesh.

I have QAF UK on DVD and haven't seen the US version as of yet... though I did see it in Dublin last week and was so tempted to buy the first season but I lack sufficient funds in this reality.

Some of the girls on my flist in England said they'd send me a copy though... But I'm sort of a hoarder so I'd probably prefer to buy it all things being equal...

I still need to get the UK version on DVD, rather than the small low-quality version I downloaded. But I need a region 1 DVD, and that show costs 3x as much for region 1 as it does for region 2, and I can't quite bring myself to pay that much for it. Yet. I'm sure I'll cave eventually.
