Across the Universe DVD FTW. I mean, now I can watch it every day or thereabouts. My love for this movie is perfectly irrational and knows no bounds. The featurettes on the 2nd disk are cute as well, Julie Taymor is a genius, etc.

But the main reason to go right now and get your hands on this DVD? Eddie Izzard's alternate takes of "Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite". MADE. OF. WIN.

I LOVE how you can hear the whole crew start to crack up as soon as he finished. And him losing the hat and working it into the song! Oh Eddie. I love you.

Also I've watched that movie like three times since I got the DVD. So. Addicted. It's just so SHINY and pretty to watch. I might long for some good Max-pining-for-Jude and them having friends-sex that isn't just friends-sex for him before Lucy comes to New York. . .

I need iconses. lol
