In Siena now. Am staying in a B&B, the priciest of my many stops in this trip, but a wonderfully peaceful way to wrap things up. After all the hostels and dorms, it's AMAZING having my own bedroom & bathroom for the next four nights, even if it's a bit harder to meet new people this way. Ah, well, I've made enough traveling friends to last me a lifetime, I think.

The travels in Italy have been marvelous. I'm so, so glad I decided to do this.

Glad to see you're having a good time! I safely returned to Canada (as is obvious by my posting) even if my flight was delayed FOREVER at the airport.
