A while back, I started watching Doctor Who. Saw a few episodes, rather enjoyed them, but then the old tv-links site was shut down and I just...never picked it back up again.

Well, I've been picking it back up again, and "Father's Day" just made me cry. A lot. Oh my goodness, this show. I get all happy and giddy about how dorky and in love with its own utter campiness it is, and then there's an episode like that. Wah.

Well, at least I know I have three more seasons to watch. Also, I'm pretty sure the infamous Captain Jack shows up soon, so THAT should be entertaining. I've absorbed a LOT of Who/Torchwood fandom through my f-list, it's really amusing to finally see where the canon matches up with all that. Also, I'm shipping Nine/Rose pretty hardcore, to the point of spoiling myself for the rest of the season because I'm not willing to wait to read the fic. I know David Tennant is awesome, but I'm really going to miss Nine.

ETA: Yup, there he is. Hey there, Jack. I've already watched the clip of you snogging the living daylights out of Ianto more times than I care to admit, though, so don't go thinking I'll be shipping you with either Rose or the Doctor, even if you are very pretty.

Trust me. The Captain pairs himself off with enough people on his own. You don't need to "ship him off" to anyone extra.

Oh, believe me, I know. I knew a rather ridiculous lot about Captain Jack Harkness long before I even considered watching the show myself.

Hurrah! Oh, from the episode Jack appears onwards is just JOY. Nine, I miss you. And Jack is best enjoyed shipped with everyone. *nods sagely*

There's no point in 'shipping Jack! He LOVES EVERYTHING! (Note I did not say "everyONE*) I think the term most often used to describe Jack is "omnisexual". LOL!
