I like this meme, mostly because I'm fascinated by first and last lines of things.
Post the first line of each of your last 25 fanfics.
1. Lockwood wasn't the first funeral, after Hector; he was just the first of the Cutler's sixth form history boys. (Memento Mori)

3. Foreman strides casually into Wilson's office, determinedly professional. (Staging)
4. Laurie finds out when she reads it in the paper the next morning, of all the goddamned humiliating things. (the day the music died)
