Every year, November comes around with a large baseball bat to my head, and I can't even think about participating in NaNo. Which is a source of great frustration, as I'd really love to -- if only it weren't frakking November.
This year is likewise crazy, but...maybe less so. I'm not going to do a proper NaNo, but I'll try to do something writerly. Maybe aim for 500 words/day of some sort of fiction. Specifically, I've got the Firefly/BSG Wash-as-final-Cylon fic of great plottiness which has been percolating for several months, and which I'd like to write before BSG returns in 2009. elementmages. Posting two fics in the past week (!!!) has reminded me how much I like being an active participant in fandom, so it would be nice to continue.
So. Yes. Not NaNo, but something like. I need the push.
And hey, yeah, in case you missed it, I actually posted fic this week. Respite (a.k.a. the Firefly Crossover Of Doom) and post-Doomsday Rose/Doctor (& Rose/Jack) fic, Life in Technicolor. Bop.
