WOW the last three episodes of Doctor Who series 3 are good. OH MY GOODNESS. I mean, granted, Captain Jack improves any episode by his mere presence, but those were just really good storytelling. And, as always, the series comes to a brilliant ridiculous teaser end. LOVE.

Martha is indeed awesome (and her theme music ROCKS), but...I dunno. This season just didn't thrill me as much as the first two. It was still great fun, of course, but really, it took until the Master's appearance to resonate properly with me. Dunno why. And again, love Martha to bits, really. I'm looking forward to her appearance in Torchwood -- I think she'll shine brighter among that bunch. Maybe it's the hopeless-pining-after-the-Doctor thing that didn't work for me. She was by far the best when her character wasn't defined by her crush on the Doctor. Mostly, that just made me miss Rose. (In which case, probably series 4 will suit me much better -- Donna's cut from a very different cloth than her predecessors.)

Now, to continue with Who or switch back to Torchwood for a bit... Hmm. Back to Torchwood, I think. I want to be able to appreciate all this Jack/Ianto fic with full canon backup, after all.

So I hear! I liked her well enough in "Runaway Bride", but I've heard she increases exponentially in awesomeness in series 4.

\o/! Dude, the end of S3 is so much FTW - 'Utopia' is maybe my favourite episode ever? Possibly. Because homg.

And yes, switching back to Torchwood is a good choice, being in the right order etc.

I AGREE. I've been clipping it for a vid this evening and keep getting distracted and having to watch bits. Talk about way to come back in style - dates! James Masters! The whole team being awesome! :D
