I have just over two minutes of a Captain Jack Harkness vid made, after spending literally nine-odd hours working on it over last night and tonight. Vidding is possibly the most awesome thing ever OMG. And that involves completely redoing a good chunk of last night's work when I decided the "story" was progressing too slowly. This is the perfect way to indulge the overly obsessive, neurotic, and perfectionist part of my brain. LOVE.

I'm going back home to New York for Thanksgiving, leaving directly from work tomorrow, and I absolutely cannot bring my laptop with me, because otherwise I would spend the entire holiday vidding instead of socializing with friends and family. Instead I shall bring my notebook and try to write my Yuletide fic, for which I have no plotbunnies of yet. Sigh.

It's SO much fun, seriously.

Despite living in NYC for the first eighteen years of my life, I've never been to the parade. Too many tourists, and the weather's ALWAYS miserable. I think you're nuts, but I hope you have fun! :D
