Okay, I'm watching "Ruby in the Smoke" now -- which I've been meaning to download for ages, really, since I LOVED those books when I was a teenager, plus, y'know, Billie Piper -- and this Matt Smith guy? Really might work out. He's good as Jim, with just the sort of manic mischief that the Doctor needs. And, really:

I'm willing to give the new guy a chance, but still, this picture that you posted...there's something so unfinished about his face. But what I object to is his age. Too young. But then, this looks to be shaping up to Peter Davison having to follow Tom Baker all over again. A tough act to follow, indeed.

And what happened to Moffat wanting an older actor?
