fandom resurrection?

I'm sorry, is there a reason no one seems to be talking about how freaking cool the Wolverine trailer looks?

I know the X-Men fandom got badly burned by the steaming pile of crap that was X3, but you cannot deny the awesome power of Hugh Jackman's biceps. And also Liev Schreiber.

In other news, it is almost 70F outside, and that is a glorious thing.

Dude, seriously, I'm still nursing my scars. No matter how freakin' AWESOME Liev looks, I can't get the X3 taste completely out of my head. Plus, Tim Roth, the head of FOX, really pissed me off.

The hotness of Liev and the fact that Gambit's eyes are red in the new trailer are slowly tempting me into some kind of hope for this movie. But we were all so badly burned by X3 that the hope, it is a fragile butterfly that will die so easily and cannot be saved by them hotting up Sabretooth. Unless the movie is good, then bring on the fic again. (I confess that Hugh never does much for me, though I LIKE him.)
