1. There is no ranking of companions. There should BE no ranking of companions. We may prefer one over another, but let us make this clear: they are all AWESOME. Rose is FANTASTIC, Martha is MAGNIFICENT, Donna is FABULOUS. Even Astrid is BRILLIANT and Lady Catherine is AMAZING.
2. Mickey is way cooler than K-9. Like, times a billionty.
3. Love Ten to bits, but I'm really looking forward to Eleven. Actually, I strongly believe the regeneration should've happened in "Journey's End". It would make the episode much stronger and, frankly, would make more sense. From a storytelling standpoint, Ten's character arc is complete -- much like Nine's was at the end of "Parting of the Ways". It's time and past to move on.
