You know, I'd be reasonably content with my life these days if it weren't for the fact that I've had a headache since Friday morning.

Seriously. Occasional headaches are the stuff of life, and I tend to ignore them (when they aren't migraines, which this very much isn't), but after four fucking days, it starts to wear me down a bit. Extra-strength Tylenol sort of takes the edge off temporarily, but there's only so much I'm willing to self-medicate for headaches that last four solid days with no indication of letting up anytime soon. What the hell, body. I'm not getting sick with anything, near as I can tell, since I'm totally fine otherwise, but my head HURTS, and WON'T STOP HURTING. I have done nothing to deserve this! Hmph.

Also, my friend and I have been mainlining Doctor Who recently (his first time), and we're nearly at the end of S2, which means I'd like to start him on S1 of Torchwood for the proper chronology of events, which is the excuse I needed to finally purchase it. But it's been unavailable for purchase on amazon for several days now:
"While this item is available from other marketplace sellers on this page, it is not currently offered by Amazon.com because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!) We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible."

Um, what? OH FOR CHRISSAKES LET ME BUY MY GODDAMN TV SHOW ALREADY.

At least they're offering S4 of Who from one of their sellers for fairly cheap (relative to what it normally goes for, anyway), so I've snagged that in the meantime. But I still lack S1 of Torchwood and S3 of Who -- being the two seasons my friend and I are up to actually watching. *facepalm*

And I'm stage managing again, which means my concept of "free time" is going to be fairly laughable for the next couple of months. Although, paradoxically, I tend to be far more prolific a writer when my RL gets busy -- still not sure why, maybe because my brain is already going a hundred miles per hour and the fic pours out along the way -- so maybe I'll still get somewhere with a couple of my long-ass WIPs despite this. Finally worked out an important plot point for the post-CoE fic today, at least, and I've got well over 7000 words already written, so.

Hi.

I can't write when I'm unemployed. And I join games and spew out epics when I'm stressed to within an inch of my life. Go team procrastination, or something? (I'm convinced it's tied in -- needing pressure in order to produce.)

Boo for your head -- drink lots of water? I hope it gets better soon.

Hi yourself. <3

Sorry about your head! You should seriously try Excedrin -- Tylenol has never really worked for me, but I've had good luck with Excedrin (my doc even recommended it). If your headache is that bad, you may need to take the medication a couple of times in order to see results. Good luck!
