Can someone please explain to me how I sat down to work on my Morgana/Gwen WIP and wound up writing a scene that is explicitly Morgana/Lancelot?

I mean, wtf, completely random and un-canon ship. Gwen/Lancelot, I grant you, and you could feasibly ship Lancelot with either Arthur or Merlin as well, but -- is he ever even in the same scene as Morgana? Dear brain: no, seriously, what? (It does make sense in the context of the fic. But still. That was so not what I thought I was writing.)

So apparently I'm writing a Morgana/Gwen fic in which Morgana and Gwen almost never actually interact at all. Way to go, me. *facepalm*


Yes, also, apparently, if I want to finish my post-CoE fix-it fic, I need to get every other possible plotbunny out of my system first. Hence the completely random Jack/Ianto five things fic I wrote in two days last week (currently in beta), hence the sudden need to go back to this Gwen/Morgana fic I started and then abandoned a couple of months ago. I suppose next I'll wind up tackling the Rose/Doctor fic I got halfway through back in, like, January. At least I feel productive now, even if I'm getting nowhere on the project I'm most interested in completing.
