So the federal government is shut down due to massive piles of white stuff, which means my office is also closed. But there are other tenants in our building, so the building must be unlocked, so someone has to sit at the front desk all day.

That would be me. Sitting at my reception desk. From 8am to 6pm. With NOTHING TO DO BECAUSE MY OFFICE IS CLOSED. And no one to relieve me for anything resembling a lunch. TEN STRAIGHT HOURS.

I'm going to beta a fic, and then I think I'm going to attack one of my many WIPs, because I've already done three days' worth of crosswords and read through my f-list and I still have 8.5 hours to go. What I'd really like to do is work on the vid bunny that bit me hard yesterday, but that, alas, I cannot do from work.

Internet, you are my only hope. ENTERTAIN ME.
