kaydeefalls | things i really shouldn't be considering

au_bigbang looks really, really interesting. At first, I thought of it as a chance to kick one of my main WIPs out at last, since it's indisputably AU from Doctor Who canon, but they won't accept any fics that already have more than 3k written. Which I do understand from a modly perspective, though it makes me very sad.

On the other hand, I've had a couple of crossover AUs kicking around in the back of my brain for quite some time now, none of which have more than a handful of words actually written, so they'd qualify. But I'm not sure I care enough about any of those fandoms right now to want to devote as much time and energy as a Big Bang takes. I suppose I could come up with a new AU idea easily enough, but...again, currently dividing my writing energy between two Big Bang-sized WIPs already, do I really want to add another?

...okay, no, I'm really just very sad that I can't submit my current AU WIP to this challenge, because I need that kind of kick in the ass. Oh well.
