After spending yesterday being entirely unproductive in every way, I'm finally working on my fic for the femgenficathon. Which is good, because the deadline is the end of this month. But, yeah, it's making me absurdly happy. Oh, girls. And it's nice to be working on a NOT epic fic for a change. This one should top out at maybe 5000 words. Short and sweet, by my standards. Also, it's a sort of fairy tale about Amy Pond and the Bad Wolf. Which is all tardis_stowaway's fault, based on an offhanded remark she made in a random episode reaction post ages ago that she probably doesn't even remember, but I'm blaming this one on her anyway. :P

Of course, this is also my final editing week for tardis_bigbang, which, ah, I really don't want to look at right now. That fic ate my brain for almost a YEAR. And in a week it will be posted and done, and that's a good thing, but it needs one good last editing overhaul, and I just...don't want to think about that right now.

Amusingly, the timing of these two challenges means I'll wind up posting two fics more or less at the same time, after not having posted anything in...I dunno, several months. WEIRD.

Ha! I vaguely remember saying something about wanting Amy and the Bad Wolf (and looking back in my journal, that is about as specific as it got). I am doing a little mini dance of joy in my desk chair to celebrate that you are actually writing it!
