Also, while DoFP was pretty much the anti-plotbunny for me (it's hard for me to explain why, exactly, but seriously), it did give me all the Raven feels. And this song has been bouncing around in my head as a theoretical Avengers vid for many months now, but it definitely suits the X-Men universe better than the MCU.

I feel confident that this will be the least popular fanwork I post this year, because most of fandom seems to either actively dislike or feel entirely indifferent towards Raven. Whatever, I DO WHAT I WANT.

FOr me, Raven is the heart and soul of the reboooted movies, even if they don't always remember that. This was just a great look at her, at what she's been through and felt, and I liked the sense of culmination to this.
