Well, this one landed with a resounding thud! I'm so spoiled, y'all. I'm not used to having a fic up for 48 hours and only getting one single comment. Writing femslash sure is humbling.

But damnit, I worked hard on this fic and I'm pleased with how it turned out. So you know what, I'll take the victory that one other person liked it enough to say so and be pleased it brought them joy, too. And I'll get over myself, I promise. Hopefully someone here will enjoy it, too!

"Uh-uh, no freaking way is that it! You do not get to ruin my one night out just for this. Do you see this outfit?" Nile gestures as expressively as she can with her wrists still bound together. "These are my fuck-me boots. I am supposed to be getting my groove on with the help of a few Hurricanes right now, and instead this ensemble is going to complete waste in some backwater bayou. So you are gonna sit your ass down and make it worth my while, lady."

(Nile meets Quỳnh. It doesn't go as anyone was expecting, except possibly Andy.)

It happens! Just letting myself be bummed out about it for a minute before moving on. Oh, well. (The length doesn't seem to be as much of a deterrent in this fandom, judging by my other works, but who the heck knows. Wrong fic at the wrong time, what can you do.)
