This is a disjointed little thing. It jumps around in time and may take you a few minutes to understand the train of thought. But it's also an improv fic, so I can't really rewrite it. Whatever, a little weirdness never hurt anyone. (Or maybe it makes perfect sense, and I'm just overthinking it. Another very real possibility.)
