My friends list is really boring. It's all like, "Squee! OotP!" and "Look look look spoilers behind the cut augh!"

And I'm all like, "Wow. I'm trying to care, but I can't."

Yes, I own the other books. Yes, I enjoyed them. No, I don't think they're the greatest literature since Tolkien. No, I don't have a copy of the new one, nor do I particularly care. They're enjoyable reads, but I haven't been going out of my mind wondering what'll happen next. I've waited -- what? Two years? -- since the last one, and frankly, a few more weeks isn't all that big a deal. I'll borrow it from some friend or another, and I'll buy it once it's in paperback. Whatever.

I'm also in a really lousy mood for a variety of reasons, which is prob'ly why all the OotP enthusiasm is irritating me so much...

Have some cake. I'm not reading it either for a number of reasons, but I'm enjoying the spoilers -- more reason to put it off and read other literature. :D

I loved that movie because I am a crazy fangirl type. I saw it twice, even. It was a great movie because Sex Himself was in it. I thought I recognized the scene -- from the musical ending, right right? Yes. :D

Whoever said it was the greatest literature since Tolkien? What is is, is a really interesting and exciting story with a lot of characters that people have come to care about very much. It's a lot of fun, and of course we're excited about it. I don't really see why that would irritate you.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I was unduly irritated due to being in a lousy mood to begin with, and then I went on my friends list in order to be distracted from said lousy mood, but all anyone was talking about was a book I hadn't read yet. So, my problem, not everyone else's. We all have our bitchy moments. ::sheepish grin::

Well, not really. But I do agree. Only difference is that I haven't read any of the books and don't really plan to. I didn't even know what OotP meant until I asked Ryn. *shrugs*
