internet issues

I'm in Chicago, which is loverly, and almost completely moved in, which is fantabulous. Of course, our apt doesn't have proper internet yet -- Joe (who's already lived here for two years) has been grafting wireless off someone else's network, but it doesn't seem to be working for my laptop, and my other roommate and I are determined to get PROPER internet. Not sure when that's going to happen. But, yes, haven't been able to check LJ and whatnot for a while, but this should be sorted soon.

I have...the same crap job, actually, because it PAYS, plus another unpaid internship doing random shit in a theater. Ah, well.
