So my mom made me watch House tonight. I liked. I kinda suspected I would. But fortunately, one episode does not an addict make, which is good because Tuesdays at 9? Right smack in the middle of UT rehearsal time. Actually, this is why I completely gave up on primetime television when I started college.

Then I tried to show my mom Firefly. She fell asleep about twenty minutes into the pilot, claiming none of it made any sense. Great. This frustrates me immensely, because generally my mom and I have similar tastes in these things, and I was looking forward to rewatching the series with her. Bah.

House? Incredible. But totally worth just Netflixing the entire series. Same with Battlestar. The best series on TV should be devoured on DVD, like I've done too many times with Firefly. (Gonna show my girlfriend the pilot this weekend, hopefully. So, um, crossing my fingers.)
