Calling in sick to work today: probably the best decision I've made in a WHILE. I'm only sort of sick -- felt worse yesterday -- but most of it is just stress and exhaustion piling up, and sleeping for twelve hours last night helps a LOT. Plus, now I can spend the rest of my day trying to finish my Yuletide fic. I did make some progress last night, which is good, and I'm solidly over the minimum wordcount, which is VERY good. It's just, y'know, not actually a complete fic yet. I'll get there.

Finding a ridiculously last-minute beta will be...interesting.
