Latest Dollhouse: disturbing yet oddly beautiful. Echo continues to be the least interesting character on this show, but that's okay, because everyone else is fascinating. Also, I want to draw big sparkly hearts around Victor. That actor really knows how to deliver Whedonesque dialogue, which is a plus. I feel like we're starting to get a good sense of the central dolls' actual personalities, and Victor is made of so much win. He just wanted to get the girl! ADORABLE. Also, kickass ex-soldier hotness, hoo boy. I think Band of Brothers has given me an unfortunate kink for soldiers. Nnngh.
Victor: casualty of Iraq/Afghanistan war, we think? As in, that's why he signed up for Dollhouse.
Also, no episode that begins with shirtless Tahmoh can possibly be a bad thing.

Date: 2009-04-05 06:53 am (UTC)I agree that Echo is the least interesting character and I think that's a real shame because it's not Eliza's fault. Unfortunately, Echo has been given the worst imprints and her back-story is easily the most boring and predictable. Honestly, the only thing keeping me interested in her character right now is her history with DeWitt. For someone like Adelle to spend two years trying to recruit an active...well, Echo must be special in some way we haven't seen. And I do still like her relationship with Boyd.
I was actually kind of surprised when Claire turned out to be the one behind the whole 'experiment' only because I started out thinking it HAD to be her. Obviously, it would be the person you'd least expect...which is what convinced me it couldn't be her 'cause that'd be WAY too predictable...So Joss got me with his trickery once again:)
