kaydeefalls way back when DW first started up as a placeholder, and figured I'd make the changeover whenever it felt right. Don't ask me why now. It just felt right. Plus now I've spent the past three hours futzing around to get my formatting and such over here just so, so now I'm bloody well committed.

My flist ("reading circle"? "dwircle"? haven't figured out the proper lingo yet) over here is all clogged with OpenID nonsense at the moment, so I'll be trying to straighten that out next. Please to be ignoring any random notifications you may receive as I add you properly. Um, if I can figure out who's even over here. This may take some time. And then I'll sort out my LJ reading list so that I'm still keeping up with the LJ-only crowd, which is still probably like 75% of my flist. And obviously my increasingly sporadic posts will all be crossposted on my LJ. Primarily this means I'm letting my paid account and ICONS(!!!) lapse on LJ, which is HARROWING. I have been on LJ for just shy of nine years. I DO NOT HANDLE CHANGE WELL OKAY.

Yesterday morning, the woman next to me on the metro was writing Supernatural fic on her laptop. I grinned maniacally when I noticed. If she hadn't been wearing headphones, I probably would have engaged her in fandomy conversation -- and completely interrupted her writing mojo, I'm sure, so just as well I didn't. But that made me happy.

This is my primary account (I post recs here that I don't crosspost).

I don't know if we've ever been introduced properly (I think of you as a BNF--not in the bad way that connotes--but in the Very Busy Well-Known Person Who Is Really Cool way). I'm Denzi. I am guessing I discovered you through Yuletide, and stayed because you are interesting (and because I really, really envy the fact that you are making a career in stage managing, something I only discovered I loved after I was finished with college and having to Do Something With My Life).

Most of my f-locked posts are more depressing than my public face--I tend to spill more to DW/LJ when I'm depressed and need accountability to get motivated than when I'm happy and things are going well. But I will happily grant you access if you don't mind that (if you just want to read fic and happy blather, that is totally okay).

I'm still working out the niceties of the whole subscription vs. access over here, since my "locked" posts are really just "posts I don't want my boss to accidentally stumble upon" rather than anything terribly, y'know, personal. So whichever makes you comfortable, it's all good.
