I love this. There are some gorgeous transitions -- going from Luna's spell to the missile in space jumps to mind, e.g.--and synchronizations (Tara blowing out the candle at 00:47 with 'left alone' in the lyrics) and the effect is a meta narrative that really gets into the heads of these amazing women being amazing. (Even the bits with relationships, Tara and Willow in particular, feel very rooted in one woman's perspective due to the effect of the lyrics.) The sounds clips at the beginning and end I don't recognize, but suspect come from a moon landing? Am very curious!

All in all, visually gorgeous and emotionally evocative, and now I really have to stop rewatching and go back to work.

i've had this open in a tab for days but kept not having time to sit still and watch it. but, oh, this is just beautiful. it manages to be sort of sad and wistful -- an acknowledgement of what it takes to be "up here where the air is thin" -- and also full of satisfaction and a certain kind of joy. as a huge scully and kara fangirl, i really really appreciated the cut between the clip of starbuck reaching out her hand to the clip of scully reaching forward to cassandra spencer in that scene on the bridge, because it looks like they're reaching out to each other. it made my heart beat faster!

anyway, i just wanted to say that this is really wonderful and i'm so glad i finally got a chance to watch it.
