I want to say that I have thinky-thoughts, but no, really, just that I don't think I could possibly ship Sherlock/John any harder if they actually made out onscreen. Which they obviously won't, so. This is good enough for me.

I am embracing my shallow fangirl here, please indulge.

(Also, squee, Russell Tovey! I was strangely disconcerted by his posh accent the entire time -- very different from Rudge or Alonso.)

John & Sherlock were MOST ADORABLE. Sherlock is terrible at having a friend! He's mean and bratty and conducts dodgy scientific experiments on his lone friend! He is going to be apologizing for that for a very long time. ♥

Russell Tovey makes anything 100% more awesome. And, oh gosh, Sherlock's apologies to John made my heart grow three sizes, I swear. OH BOYS.

After the disaster that was their take on SCAN, I was delighted by their Hound interpretation. Mark Gatiss should write all the episodes. He clearly appreciates the Sherlock/John-Holmes/Watson. I swore I'd never write fanfiction for Sherlock, but after last night, man am I tempted.

Oh, if only Gatiss could write them all! I adore his obvious respect for the original canon. (And the finale is written by the guy who gave us "Blind Banker", which is unfortunate.)
